Description
The contractor will expand the existing parking lot at Ecole La-Belle-Cloche by approximately 328 square metres to create 11 new light-duty parking spaces. Work includes temporary construction fencing, excavation and placement of select borrow, Class A gravel, and asphalt pavement; asphalt transitions and repairs to existing pavement; parking-lot line painting; adjustment of manhole covers; and removal and disposal of excess materials. The scope also includes approximately 16.5 metres of cast-in-place concrete sidewalk, including granular base, reinforcement, joints, curing, and connections to the existing sidewalk, along with topsoil, seeding, final landscaping, drainage and site restoration. The contractor must coordinate work to maintain school operations, provide a preliminary construction schedule, and comply with applicable safety, environmental, and provincial construction requirements. The estimated contract period is one month, with work proposed to start October 19, 2026, and completion required by November 30, 2026.
