Description
The Ada County Highway District seeks a contractor to provide preventive maintenance, comprehensive safety inspections, mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs, and pickup and return transportation for an estimated 112-vehicle Commuteride vanpool fleet. The fleet includes Honda Odyssey and Ford Transit vans. Work includes routine maintenance packages, separately authorized repairs and replacement services, tire and battery services, vehicle custody and transport, and electronic repair-order and inspection reporting. Routine maintenance and common repairs are expected to be completed within 24 hours of the vehicle entering the contractor’s custody; more complex repairs are limited to 48 hours unless ACHD approves an extension. Proposals must describe the firm’s experience, facilities, qualifications, key personnel, service approach, subcontractors, service coverage, and relevant vehicle-service products and warranties. Respondents must complete the portal questionnaire and cost schedules, provide three references, and disclose any applicable prior disputes with ACHD. Attendance at the in-person pre-submission meeting and completion of required site walkthroughs are mandatory conditions of responsiveness.
