Description
The Ada County Highway District seeks herbicide application services for its maintained public rights-of-way and stormwater facilities. Work includes initial and follow-up treatments for roadsides, sidewalks, stormwater basin perimeters and uplands, inspected basin side slopes, access roads, and authorized spot-treatment locations. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, equipment, herbicides, traffic control, application records, and related resources, and comply with applicable licensing, safety, environmental, and pesticide-label requirements. The proposal must include a narrative covering firm history and experience, three references, qualifications, staffing and equipment, key personnel, project approach, and disclosures concerning prior ACHD disputes. An Application Plan is also required. The solicitation identifies required applicator licenses and certifications, but the Scope of Work places their submission within the bid requirements; insurance certificates and other contract-performance submittals are due after award and are not proposal attachments. Proposals are submitted through ACHD’s eProcurement portal.
