Description
Gaston County seeks one or more vendors to provide on-call collision repair, body repair, refinishing, and related services for its light- and medium-duty vehicles, law-enforcement vehicles, and ambulances. Repairs must restore vehicles to their pre-damage condition and meet or exceed applicable industry standards and OEM specifications. Work may include aluminum body repairs, specialty truck bodies, and ambulance body and patient-compartment repairs. The County will arrange vehicle delivery and pickup, and work will be authorized through purchase orders, work authorizations, or task orders. No minimum quantity or dollar value of work is guaranteed. The proposal must include a completed Submission Template, including the cost proposal and at least three similar-project references from the past three years. The County anticipates awarding to multiple vendors under an initial three-year contract, with up to two additional one-year extensions. Insurance certificates are required before work begins or at contract execution, as specified in the solicitation; they are not proposal-time submissions.
