Description
The City of Ames seeks professional recruiting services for an Electrical Engineering Manager. The selected firm will review the City's position profile and recruitment process, actively source qualified candidates, verify candidates' education, professional license, work authorization, and driver's license, and provide a recommended candidate list based on application materials and follow-up interviews. The firm must also provide EEO data at the end of the search and restart recruitment at no additional charge if the selected candidate leaves City employment within 18 months of hiring. The proposal must include the proposed representatives' qualifications and availability, relevant recruiting experience (including public-sector utility recruitment), recruiting capabilities for electrical engineering and public-sector management candidates, the proposed methodology and timeline, at least three references for similar searches conducted within the last five years, and a not-to-exceed fee proposal. The City anticipates at least one in-person meeting at the start of the work; subsequent communication may be by phone or video conference. The City budget is approximately $25,000.
