Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to procure Prednisolone Acetate 1% Ophthalmic Suspension for distribution through VA and Department of Defense pharmaceutical prime vendor programs, including participating federal healthcare organizations. The estimated annual quantities are 392,107 bottles of 5 mL, 70,070 bottles of 10 mL, and 10,172 bottles of 15 mL. The contract is expected to cover one base year plus four pre-priced one-year option periods. Offerors must identify the exact product name appearing on the label and provide a unique National Drug Code (NDC) number. The contractor's label must be the only label on the product, must accommodate VA labeling, and must leave sufficient space for barcode exposure and expiration-date and lot-number display. The procurement is unrestricted and is expected to be issued as a commercial-item RFP.
