Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is planning a firm-fixed-price, requirements-type contract for morphine sulfate products. The scope includes 2 mg/mL and 4 mg/mL injection syringes; 2 mg/mL and 10 mg/mL intravenous syringes, packaged in quantities of 10; and 2 mg/mL, 4 mg/mL, and 10 mg/mL injection-solution vials plus 4 mg/mL and 10 mg/mL intravenous-solution vials, packaged in boxes of 25. Competition will be limited to qualified domestic manufacturers whose active pharmaceutical ingredients and final dosage forms are manufactured domestically. The resulting national supply source will support federal healthcare and corrections customers through government prime-vendor programs. Annual usage estimates will be provided in the future solicitation; no award amount is stated.
