Description
The Department of the Navy intends to award a sole-source contract for the repair and overhaul of 4 units of NSN 2815-01-24117665, a diesel engine. The contractor must perform all repairs in accordance with the latest technical publications and return the engines to a Ready for Issue (RFI) condition. The required repair turnaround time (RTAT) is 47 days after receipt of asset. The contractor must provide a throughput constraint and comply with quality management system requirements per ISO 9001/SAE AS9100. The contract includes provisions for Beyond Economical Repair (BER), Missing on Induction (MOI), and Over and Above Repair (OAR) items. Delivery is FOB Origin, and early and incremental deliveries are accepted and preferred.
