Description
Ellis County seeks a vendor to process and remove a stockpiled metal pile from its landfill/transfer station. The vendor must provide all equipment and labor, notify landfill staff of non-recyclable material, and clean the ground after processing. Metal will be weighed on the county's scale, and compensation is based on the weight removed; the proposal must state a price per ton. Final payment is due before the last load leaves the site. The vendor must provide a current Kansas operating license and current liability insurance. The bid sheet also requests an estimated arrival date and completion date. Arrival must be no later than November 30, 2026, and completion is expected within 30 days after the start date.
