Description
The United States Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price lease of one fully mission-capable, non-brand-specific, non-Ultra High Pressure P-23-equivalent Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting vehicle for a two-month period. The contractor must provide delivery, transportation, maintenance, repairs, supervision, quality control, and retrieval. The vehicle must meet specified chassis, powertrain, water and foam capacity, dry-chemical, pump, turret, handline, cab, safety, and winterization requirements, and comply with applicable NFPA 1900 and FAA Advisory Circular 150/5220-10 standards. The vehicle must be delivered clean, dry, operational, and free of defects, with at least 80% tire tread remaining. The contractor is responsible for major repairs and must provide an on-site certified heavy-truck or ARFF technician within 24 hours of a mission-critical failure, with an equivalent replacement required if the vehicle cannot be restored within 48 hours of technician arrival. The initial rental term is two months from government acceptance, with a possible written extension of up to 30 additional days. The quote must include CLIN 0001 pricing, a technical approach of no more than five pages, contractor information and point of contact, completed representations and certifications, a signed SF 1449 and applicable amendments, discount terms, and prices valid through September 30, 2026.
