Description
The State of West Virginia is soliciting bids for an open-ended contract to supply reusable small sign support breakaway devices for highway traffic engineering. Required items include complete surface-mount devices, complete soil-mount devices, post receivers, shear bolts, and rubber bushings, with estimated quantities of 240, 40, 40, 400, and 300 units, respectively. Actual orders may be more or less than the estimated quantities. Products must meet detailed compatibility, crashworthiness, material, installation, durability, and component requirements, including applicable WVDOH approved-product-list requirements. Surface-mount devices must include the receiver, locking wedge, base, shear bolt, hardware, rubber bushing, and recommended anchors; soil-mount devices must include the corresponding soil base and hardware. The contract requires standard orders to be delivered within 22 working days after receipt, with delivery generally to WVDOH district headquarters or other agency-designated locations. Vendors must complete the pricing pages and submit a signed bid.
