Description
The contractor must remove and dispose of the existing chiller and provide and install one new 120-ton Trane CGAM120 air-cooled scroll packaged chiller with standard finned condenser coils. Work includes reconnecting chilled-water piping and electrical systems, insulating new and modified piping, supplying and charging the loop with glycol, and providing any additional devices needed for operation. Startup and commissioning must be performed by authorized Trane Service to preserve the warranty, and the contractor must train facility staff and provide operating manuals. Required deliverables include installation and commissioning documentation, product submittals, wiring diagrams, inspection and compliance records, glycol and electrical certificates, and one-year parts-and-labor and five-year compressor warranties. The solicitation also requires a project schedule, safety and quality planning, qualified project staff, and past-performance and construction-safety information. The specified Trane model is required; the procurement is a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. The work is to be completed within the period specified in the award; the statement of work says completion is due within 30 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
