Description
South Whitehall Township is soliciting bids for the replacement of water and sewer lines on Fairmont Street and 23rd Street. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building, located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, PA 18104. Attendance at this conference is mandatory for a bid to be considered. Sealed bids must be submitted online through the PennBid Program by 10:00 a.m. on July 1, 2026. Paper bids will not be accepted. All relevant documents and solicitation details are available online via https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Bids will be opened online on July 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with results made public through PennBid. A bid security of ten percent (10%) of the bid price is required with the bid submission. Additionally, a performance bond of one hundred percent (100%) must be submitted within ten (10) days of bid acceptance. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the corresponding rates are included in the bid documents.
