Description
The University of Southern Mississippi is soliciting lump-sum proposals for comprehensive waterproofing of the existing concrete grandstand on Renasant Stadium's lower west level. The work includes field verification, protection of adjacent surfaces and facilities, concrete surface preparation and repairs, crack and joint treatment, primer application, and installation of a reinforced Neogard Peda-Gard Aliphatic traffic-coating system. The completed system must provide waterproofing, a non-skid walking surface, and a minimum total thickness of 44 dry mils, excluding primer and aggregate. No substitutions are allowed. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, safety measures, quality-control documentation, a minimum 100-square-foot mock-up, cleanup, and a minimum 10-year labor and material warranty. The contractor must have at least 10 years of commercial traffic-coating experience, provide at least three references and similar-project history from the past five years, and include ICRI and Neogard certifications. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required, and bids must include the completed proposal form, experience documentation, applicable contractor documentation, deviations or exceptions, required certifications, and bid security.
