Description
The Wayne County Board of Supervisors is soliciting bids for construction on approximately 0.184 miles of Mississippi Drive/State Highway 145. The work includes widening an existing two-lane roadway, constructing a center turn lane, furnishing base and paving, and installing pavement markings and signage. The contractor must provide all required labor, equipment, plant, and materials in accordance with the Mississippi Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2017 Edition, including applicable amendments, special provisions, and addenda. Bids must include bid security equal to 5% of the total bid in the form of an acceptable cashier's check, certified check, solvent bank check, or bidder's bond. The successful bidder must furnish a contract bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bids may be submitted sealed to the Chancery Clerk or electronically subject to requirements obtained from the Engineer of Record.
