The City of Mountain View is soliciting bids for Phase II of its Grant/Sleeper and other pedestrian crossing improvements project. The work includes installing a pedestrian hybrid beacon at the Rengstorff Avenue and Junction Avenue intersection, installing rectangular rapid-flashing beacons at two other intersections, upgrading existing curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, constructing new curb ramps, upgrading crosswalks with high-visibility striping, and installing additional advance warning signage. Bidding documents are available as physical or digital sets for a non-refundable fee of $318 per set.
