Description
Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking contractors to provide prescribed burn services on an as-needed basis in county parks and other county locations. Work may include site assessment and project planning; burn plan development; obtaining permits and coordinating required notifications; supplying trained personnel and equipment to conduct burns; and post-burn evaluation and documentation. Contractors must provide burn-specific not-to-exceed quotes, coordinate with county staff, and follow applicable ecological and wildlife-protection protocols, including Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake management practices where relevant. The response must include the completed bid form and rate table, with pricing for labor, mobilization, and equipment. The bid form also requests organizational information, staff qualifications, and at least three references for similar projects completed within the past five years. The contract may run for up to five years.
