Description
The City of Lakeland is soliciting sealed bids for a firm-priced annual supply and delivery of 3,000 psi concrete blend mix, Class 1 2,500 NS concrete, excavatable flowable fill, and related concrete products and services. The pricing schedule also includes pea rock, non-excavatable flowable fill, fuel surcharges, environmental and handling fees, minimum-load charges, fiber, high-range water reducer, and pump prime. Materials must comply with the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2025 edition, Sections 344, 346, and 347. The estimated annual requirement for the Public Works Construction and Maintenance Division is 1,000 cubic yards, but the quantity is not guaranteed. The requirement is firm and valid through September 30, 2027, with four optional one-year renewals upon mutual consent. Bidders must complete the electronic portal questionnaire and pricing submission, provide required business and insurance documentation, and submit notarized hold-harmless and human-trafficking affidavits. The bid requires at least three comparable completed projects from the past three years.
