Description
The Arkansas Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for one new, current-production high-volume swing-tube piston pump for concrete and wet shotcrete. The unit must include a minimum 74 SAE gross horsepower diesel engine, a swing-tube piston pump producing at least 1,000 psi piston-face pressure and 40 cubic yards per hour, automatic lubrication, a minimum 5-inch discharge, an 11-cubic-foot hopper, wireless controls, and specified trailer, axle, tire, dimensional, exhaust, and support features. Used, reconditioned, discontinued, prototype, or foreign-market units are not acceptable. Bidders must submit manufacturer literature verifying compliance, identify and explain any deviations, provide professional chassis-layout drawings, and substantiate the manufacturer's and model's production and sales history. The successful bidder must deliver the unit assembled and ready for continuous operation, provide manuals and warranty documentation, maintain replacement-parts inventory and service facilities, and provide a minimum 12-month warranty covering parts, labor, transportation, and authorized-dealer repairs. ARDOT may require a free equipment demonstration before award and may inspect the equipment during manufacture or before installation.
