Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks new bedroom furniture for a 40-bed domiciliary: 38 twin beds and mattresses, two queen beds and mattresses, 40 wardrobes, and 40 bedside tables. Products must meet the specifications or be equal, be new, and include manufacturer warranties. The quote must identify the offered products and include product specifications or literature demonstrating compliance; proof of authorized-distributor status is also required for evaluation. The contractor must remove and dispose of existing furniture, deliver and install the new items, mount wardrobes to walls, assemble and place the furniture, protect the facility during the work, and remove packaging and debris. The solicitation requires a price schedule, including separate pricing for labor, removal/disposal, and installation, as well as finish samples, product literature, complete manufacturer specifications, a self-certifying statement confirming ability to meet deadlines, warranty information, and the completed Buy American and VA limitations-on-subcontracting certificates. Quotes are due by email, and the solicitation is set aside for certified SDVOSBs.
