Description
The University of Calcutta seeks a contractor to make one two-seater sofa, two single-seater sofas, and one wooden center table with a glass top. The sofas are to use mahogany for exposed surfaces and sal and kapur wood for the structure, with HDPE foam and fabric upholstery; exposed wood is to be polished to match the existing furniture. The table is to use mahogany, sal, and kapur wood, with a polished finish matching the existing furniture. The contractor must inspect the site before quoting, supply all materials, and complete the work within 15 days of receiving the work order. The tender requires a demand draft for earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated or quoted amount, along with a valid trade license, GST and PAN documents, and credentials for similar work of at least 75% of the estimated value completed in a single tender during the last three financial years. The estimated cost is Rs 99,710, inclusive of taxes.
