Description
The Colorado Department of Early Childhood seeks a vendor to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and requested enhancements for its existing Colorado Child Care Licensing System (CCCLS), a CJIS-compliant background-check investigation and processing system. Work includes Level 2 support, bug fixes, database updates, and enhancements to the system’s web application, backend processor, Windows services, and SQL Server database. The system supports background-check data processing and exchange, reporting, user access controls, secure file transfers, and related functionality, and requires 24/7 uptime. The vendor must provide CJIS-certified staff and comply with applicable CJIS security requirements, including fingerprint-based background checks and protection of criminal justice information. The proposal must address the vendor’s relevant experience, technical approach, staffing, transition plan, service levels, and pricing, and include a completed Statement of Work template and attestation. The initial contract term is one year, with up to four additional one-year terms at the State’s discretion.
