Description
Merced County is seeking one new, current-production mid-size SUV with front-wheel drive, white exterior paint, a dark interior, seating for at least five passengers, gasoline engine, automatic transmission, and standard manufacturer equipment. Required features include applicable FMVSS compliance, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, airbags, tire-pressure monitoring, backup camera, power windows and locks, cruise control, heating and air conditioning, Bluetooth or equivalent, floor mats, and a manufacturer’s warranty. Ford Explorer and Chevrolet Traverse are identified as preferred vehicles, but equivalent items may be considered. The vehicle must be delivered new, undamaged, and in good operating condition, with all required equipment installed before delivery. Bidders must provide a vehicle specification sheet and an itemized exception page; the awarded bidder must be able to deliver and invoice no later than December 4, 2026. The bid is submitted electronically through the County’s ProcureWare system, and the completed Attachment A signature sheet must be returned with the bid.
