Description
Sweetwater Authority is soliciting a lump-sum construction bid for the abandonment and relocation of the San Diego Country Club Pipeline. The work includes sliplining approximately 3,580 linear feet of an existing 30-inch CML&C water main with 24-inch HDPE pipe, abandoning existing pipelines and appurtenances, and installing new pipe, appurtenances, and service laterals. The project requires a Class A General Engineering Contractor license and completion within 110 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit the electronic bid schedule and all required bid forms through the PlanetBids portal, including the Bid Form, Workers' Compensation Form, 10% Bid Bond, Non-Collusion Declaration, Bidder Information and Experience Form, Subcontractors Form, Iran Contracting Form, Fleet Compliance Form, and Public Works Certification. The bid package must also include documented experience with comparable sliplining installations using 20-inch-or-larger pipe, including at least three prior installations completed in the United States. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds before contract execution.
