Description
The National Institutes of Health, on behalf of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order for a targeted clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) sequencing assay. The contractor must access Framingham Heart Study and whole-genome sequencing data, perform the targeted assay on 11,000 samples, collaborate with the NHLBI intramural team on subsequent analyses and publications, and transfer all collected data to the NIH through Google Cloud or another suitable method. The contractor must provide statistical analyses of CHIP reads from all samples. The notice identifies this as a follow-on requirement and states that the assay and orthogonal technology are available through the Bick Lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the intended sole-source awardee. The base period of performance is 12 months.
