Description
The City of Hendersonville Police Department is soliciting sealed bids for a 24-month lease of six new 2026 or newer Harley-Davidson Road Glide FLTRXP police motorcycles. Each motorcycle must be a police model, Birch White, equipped with an upgraded 12-inch Wind Splitter windshield, and covered by a minimum two-year factory warranty. The bidder must provide manufacturer or dealer specifications, warranty documentation, and identify the authorized dealer or service location. The bid must include the complete 24-month lease cost for all six motorcycles, including delivery, freight, overhead, and incidental costs, along with the quarterly payment amount based on eight equal payments. The lessor is responsible for delivery and applicable warranty obligations; the City is responsible for scheduled maintenance and full-coverage insurance on the motorcycles. Partial bids are not accepted, and any exceptions or additional charges must be identified.
