Description
The California Department of Motor Vehicles is soliciting after-hours janitorial services for approximately 2,309 square feet at its Susanville field office. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, specified supplies, personal protective equipment, supervision, and travel for cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, restrooms, offices, public areas, floors, carpets, entrances, and special maintenance areas. Services include daily, weekly, biweekly, quarterly, semiannual, annual, and as-needed tasks, including floor finishing, grout and tile sealing, window and blind cleaning, and hot-water carpet extraction. The contract term is 36 months, with projected dates from December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029, or upon contract approval. The estimated three-year budget is $87,480. Bidders must be certified by California's Department of General Services as a Certified Small Business, provide a California Department of Industrial Relations registration number, comply with specified wage and benefit requirements, and attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. The selected contractor must maintain security procedures, provide trained uniformed personnel and required equipment, and comply with insurance and worker-retention requirements.
