Description
The Bureau of Land Management requires a design-build contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for fully integrated design and construction services to redeck Trail Bridge 9. The work includes designing and constructing abutments, providing riprap abutment protection, and installing an appropriately designed steel or timber bridge in accordance with the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and the FHWA Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-24). The anticipated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The opportunity is set aside for small businesses under the applicable $45 million size standard. The anticipated period of performance is 180 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. Prospective offerors must have a UEI and an active SAM profile with completed representations and certifications. A site visit is anticipated approximately one to two weeks after the subsequent RFP is issued.
