Description
The Salina Airport Authority is soliciting bids for the Building 595 Roofing & Guttering project at Salina Regional Airport. The work includes removal of approximately 22,215 square feet of existing PVC, TPO, modified bitumen, or rubber roofing; removal and replacement of approximately 682 linear feet of gutters and downspouts; installation of a PVC roofing system; and installation of 5-inch ISO insulation. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and related incidentals. Bidders must submit the provided proposal form, a bid guaranty equal to 5% of the total bid, evidence of qualifications and financial responsibility, and a separate attachment listing project inclusions, exclusions, and applicable material and labor warranties. The project requires a mandatory pre-bid site visit, and the selected contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds if project costs exceed $100,000. Required insurance includes workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, general liability, automobile liability, installation floater or builder’s risk, and owners protective liability coverage. The proposal must state the contract performance time in calendar days; work must begin within 10 calendar days after the notice to proceed, with liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day for late completion.
