Description
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Collaborative Testing Services, LLC for scheduled proficiency tests supporting the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System and Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory. The requirement includes testing materials such as bloodstains, dried body-fluid stains, and dried saliva samples shipped on specified schedules. The notice states that CTS is the only responsible source meeting the laboratory’s requirements for validated test substrates, electronic reporting, sample matrices, capacity, and staggered distribution intervals. The requirement is intended to support laboratory accreditation and continuous personnel testing.
