Description
Broward County’s Solid Waste and Recycling Services Division requires a vendor to shear approximately 1,000 oversized off-road tires at the Broward County Landfill. Tires range from three to five feet in diameter and must be cut into two equal, fully separated halves with no partially attached sections. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, specialized heavy-duty tire-shearing equipment, tools, transportation, fuel, personnel, loading and positioning equipment, cleanup, debris removal, safety measures, and personal protective equipment. Sheared tire sections must be stacked or placed in a County-designated location, and work must begin within two weeks after the purchase order date. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed-price, one-time purchase order, with pricing requested per tire. Required submission components include the online BidTable, estimated mobilization time, and a completed and signed Vendor Questionnaire; insurance verification may be submitted with the response or upon written request.
