Description
Broward County is preparing a future Request for Proposal for an architect-led team to develop a design criteria package and provide deliberately phased professional services for a new convention center parking garage. The anticipated scope includes architectural and interior design; structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and civil engineering; landscaping; signage and wayfinding; building information modeling; LEED services; parking guidance systems; cost estimating; and security. The County may implement all identified improvements or add work discovered during programming or planning, in one or multiple phases, subject to funding availability and facility access. The future solicitation is expected to require a state-certified registered architect, project-specific insurance, and compliance with a 20% County Business Enterprise participation goal. This notice is for advance planning only; the full solicitation has not yet been issued.
