Description
The City of Hollywood is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced contractors for interim drainage improvements at Johnson Street and the FDOT I-95 ditch. The project includes raising the ditch bank to approximately 5 feet NAVD, regrading the ditch to increase storage and conveyance, installing an equivalent large culvert beneath Johnson Street, and constructing a canal to provide a positive outfall to the City's drainage system in the Sunset Park area. The work addresses flooding caused by undersized drainage infrastructure and runoff entering the shared FDOT storage ditch. The contract duration is 210 calendar days. Bidders must complete all required forms and documentation, provide pricing for each required line item, and acknowledge all addenda before submitting. The project budget is under $1,500,000. Only electronic submissions through the City's OpenGov portal will be accepted.
