Description
Washington County Public Schools seeks one or more vendors to provide driver education services for eligible students at designated high schools. The scope includes MVA-compliant curriculum and materials, classroom instruction delivered in person or synchronously online, and individual behind-the-wheel training by MVA-licensed instructors. Classroom instruction must include at least 30 hours, and behind-the-wheel instruction at least 6 hours. The vendor must also provide course materials and MVA-compliant completion certificates, manage student progress and required documentation, and provide additional driving time and a car for a student's driving test when requested. Instruction and materials must be available in English and Spanish, and classroom sessions are generally limited to 10 students. The contract is for services requested on an as-needed basis, with unit-price proposals for the listed instruction and additional services. The initial term runs from award through December 31, 2028, with two possible additional two-year terms. Vendors must have MVA-licensed instructors and at least three years of successful driver education program experience. Vendors must register with eMaryland Marketplace Advantage before submitting a proposal.
