Description
Macomb Community College seeks a consultant to design and develop a 16-week, three-credit course on electric-vehicle fundamentals and high-voltage safety for second-semester associate-degree students. The work includes 16 weekly instructional modules, a synchronized syllabus and course schedule, pre- and post-course surveys, lecture presentations, student handouts, laboratory exercises, homework, quizzes, exams, and a final course project. Existing workforce-development course content will be provided, but some material may need updating. The college also requests a separate cost estimate for adding text-to-speech capability to support online delivery of lectures. The proposal should explain the instructional approach, implementation plan and schedule, support and maintenance, pricing, and relevant company and personnel experience. The selected consultant will support implementation, including kickoff and progress meetings, course installation and configuration, testing, and training if needed. Hands-on laboratory activities are part of the course design and are intended for the college's automotive technology EV laboratory.
