Description
The City of Vancouver has issued a notice of intent to extend its contract with HUB Cycling for one additional year to deliver active travel education to Grade 6 and 7 students. Qualified trainers provide the four-part Ride the Road program, which builds students’ walking and cycling skills, awareness, and confidence. The program aims to reach students at 75 public elementary schools every two years, with approximately 3,500 students receiving the course annually. The stated value of the one-year extension is approximately CAD 201,058.
