Description

Blaine School District is seeking qualifications from firms or individuals to provide project management and construction management services for a proposed replacement middle school, ongoing district-wide capital construction projects, and pre-bond planning. The selected provider will act as the owner's representative; support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, quality control, contract administration, consultant management, project closeout, regulatory compliance, and grant-funding efforts; and provide expertise in managing simultaneous K-12 projects across multiple sites. The opportunity uses a qualifications-based selection process, with price determined during contract negotiations. Submittals are limited to ten single-sided 8.5-by-11-inch sheets, including introduction and cover pages. Required qualifications include Washington K-12 school construction experience, descriptions of services provided, an organizational chart and key-personnel resumes, three school-district client examples with current references, and experience with multi-site capital bond or levy programs. The successful proposer must maintain commercial general liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, plus professional liability insurance of $3 million per occurrence and aggregate.
