Description
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is soliciting lump-sum bids for underground electrical power distribution from an existing power pedestal to four locations at Fire Station 12-5. The work includes service connections and panel locations for an existing roof-covered Connex structure and two future training facilities, along with associated distribution components, wiring, controls, and appurtenances. The contractor must also design and install site lighting for an approximately 180-by-200-foot training area, including pole foundations, light poles, fixtures, junction boxes, underground wiring, and controls. The scope includes labor, materials, equipment, site restoration coordination, construction scheduling, quality control, project management, and required closeout documentation. Substantial completion is required by June 1, 2027, final completion by June 15, 2027, and closeout by July 15, 2027. A bid guarantee is required for bids exceeding $100,000, and successful bidders must provide payment and performance bonds in the full contract amount when applicable.
