Description
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs is soliciting approximately six Equity Partners to support the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness 2.0 program. Equity Partners will advise and facilitate municipal Core Teams, provide training on equity and climate justice, support engagement with Environmental Justice communities and other priority populations, recruit and work with Community Liaisons, help identify and vet climate resilience Seed Projects, and document progress and feedback. The role is expected to support approximately four to seven communities per Equity Partner through an initial period estimated at 17 months, with three approximately one-year renewal options. The solicitation anticipates multiple awards and requires bidders to submit qualifications, proposed personnel, hourly rates and direct-cost budgets, prior project descriptions and writing samples, references, conflict disclosures when applicable, and a Supplier Diversity Plan with at least a 1% commitment. The estimated total value for all Equity Partners is $480,000 or less for the initial 17-month period.
