Description
The Town seeks one or more consultants to provide on-call review of commercial and residential building plans, supplemental building inspections, conveyance permit and plan reviews, elevator and other conveyance inspections, and related code consulting. Work is assigned as needed, with no guaranteed minimum volume. Services may cover building, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fuel gas, electrical, energy, accessibility, existing-building, wildfire-resiliency, and conveyance requirements; fire reviews and inspections are excluded. The consultant must provide qualified and appropriately certified personnel, review comments and inspection reports, and related records and technical support. Field services and in-person coordination are arranged by mutual agreement; plan review may be performed remotely. Responses must include a qualifications response and a rate sheet, and address the firm’s qualifications, team, technical approach, comparable projects, and references. The response is limited to 20 pages and must be submitted as a PDF. The Town anticipates a one-year initial contract term with four one-year renewal options.
