Description
The New Jersey Department of Transportation seeks a consultant to provide construction inspection services for timber and underwater structural repair projects in its North Region. The anticipated team includes up to five bridge inspectors: three at NICET III and two at NICET II. The State will determine staffing needs based on the construction contractor’s work schedule, and inspectors must be available for shifts required by project staging and allowable work hours. The technical proposal is evaluated on mandatory staff qualifications, certified small-business utilization, team qualifications and experience, and the firm’s performance rating. The solicitation sets a 25% goal for New Jersey-registered Small Business Enterprises. A project field office may be assigned, with its location determined closer to the construction date. The earliest anticipated personnel start date is February 22, 2027; the construction projects are not assured to proceed.
