Description
The City of Mansfield is soliciting sealed bids for the annual supply and delivery of water treatment chemicals, including aluminum chlorohydrate, sodium hydroxide, liquid ammonium sulfate, hydrochloric acid, sodium chloride, hydrofluorosilicic acid, citric acid, and hydrogen peroxide. Estimated annual quantities range from 20 to 1,000 tons per chemical. Products must meet applicable AWWA standards and NSF/ANSI Standard 60 requirements where specified, with certificates of analysis accompanying each shipment. The contractor must provide bulk delivery within specified lead times, unload and transfer chemicals into plant storage tanks, furnish the required pumps, hoses, fittings, compressors, safety equipment, and specialized tanker, hopper, or tote trucks, and handle spill cleanup. The contractor must also comply with delivery security procedures, provide annual safety training for relevant City employees, and describe available technical assistance. The initial contract term is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with up to four additional 12-month renewals.
