Description
The City of Temple is soliciting proposals for comprehensive management and maintenance of Crossroads Park, a 70-acre athletic complex containing four baseball fields, four softball fields, seven soccer fields, and one multiuse field. Services include weekday mowing and landscaping, athletic field preparation, dragging, edging, marking, mound and base maintenance, laser grading, fence and gate repairs, turf fertilization, aeration, top-dressing, weed and pest control, disease control, replacement sod, and irrigation-system inspection and repair. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, licensed pesticide application and irrigation personnel, adequate weekday and tournament staffing, emergency response, monthly reporting, and a proposed turf-management schedule. The solicitation includes a $650,000 budget for base monthly services, a two-year initial term beginning January 1, 2027, and four additional two-year renewal options. Proposals must include the required proposer and pricing forms, applicable conflict-of-interest documentation, federal vendor certification, and a proposal response addressing experience, staffing, equipment, and turf-management methods.
