Description
Ferris State University is soliciting a vendor to provide comprehensive database administration services for its Ellucian Banner ERP environment running on Oracle databases and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The scope includes administration, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, account and privilege management, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, security support, disaster recovery testing, test-environment refreshes, and support for related Banner and middleware components. The vendor must support production and test environments, coordinate maintenance and upgrades with University teams, participate in biannual disaster recovery drills, provide month-end processing support, and meet specified service levels ranging from 15-minute responses for critical outages to next-business-day responses for low-priority requests. Proposals must include pricing, a signed Information and Disclosure Form, a signed bid response accepting the RFP terms, organizational and technical capability information, at least three references, service and cost details, consortium disclosure, and a diversity and inclusion commitment.
