Description
The City of Watertown is seeking hourly quotes for snow removal services and rental of equipment for the 2026–2027 season. Requested equipment includes motor graders, front-end wheel loaders with buckets, push boxes, or folding V-plows, tandem-axle dump trucks with sanders and plows, skid-steer loaders, snow blowers, semi-tractors and trailers, pickups with plows, dozers, track excavators, and other miscellaneous equipment. Quotes may also include laborers for sidewalk snow clearing and deicing, snow-shovel work, snow-blower work, and general labor. Hourly rates must include necessary labor, equipment, fuel, lubricants, parts, repairs, cutting edges, mileage, and safety equipment. Equipment has specified minimum capabilities, including 150-horsepower motor graders, 10-foot-or-wider push boxes and folding V-plows, 12-cubic-yard-or-larger tandem dump trucks, and fully functional end gates, lights, and tarps where applicable. Contractors must provide deicing material for sidewalk work, maintain required certifications such as a Class A commercial driver's license where applicable, submit invoices with specified usage details, and provide proof of liability insurance before work begins. The contract period is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027.
