The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service requires a contractor to upgrade an existing Edwards EST3 fire alarm control panel and replace the facility’s smoke and heat detectors. The replacement panel must be fully compatible with the existing wiring, sensors, and other fire detection components. The contractor must remove and properly dispose of the existing panel and detectors, contain dust from any wall drilling, repair contractor-caused facility damage, and provide at least a one-year warranty for the panel upgrade. The work also includes a complete system test after the panel upgrade, testing and calibration of the new smoke and heat detectors, and training facility personnel to operate the upgraded panel. The anticipated award is a firm-fixed-price contract for one award, with performance due 30 days after receipt of order; equipment delivery is identified for September 2026. Quotations will be evaluated based on technical approach, delivery capability, fair and reasonable pricing, and acceptable or neutral past performance.
