The U.S. Navy's NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support is soliciting repair, upgrade, overhaul, testing, inspection, and return-to-service work for 18 units of NSN 5998-01-617-6920, part number 7RH 5998 016176920 V2. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary to restore the electronic components to a Ready for Issue condition in accordance with the applicable technical drawings, specifications, and repair manuals. Repairs include component replacement, reassembly, testing, inspection, quality control, configuration management, and compliant packaging. The contractor must perform the work at the facility identified in the statement of work and maintain appropriate repair, inspection, and quality records. The initial induction period is 365 calendar days from contract award, with a government option to extend it by an additional 365 days. The contractor must propose option pricing for a maximum of 20 units over the entire contract period and provide separate second-year pricing if applicable. Source approval, repair-source identification, ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100-quality controls, calibration controls, and government approval of specified process or source changes are required. The solicitation identifies Simmons Precision Products at 100 Patton Road, Vergennes, Vermont 05492-1008, CAGE Code 89305, as the repair source and states that repairs may be performed by the contractor or subcontractor.
