Description
Steuben County is soliciting a lump-sum bid for the manufacture and delivery of prestressed concrete bridge beams for Bridge BIN 3359510, Bridge 7-06, on County Route 7 over Ten Mile Creek in the Town of Prattsburgh. The scope includes precast-prestressed concrete beams with calcium-nitrite corrosion inhibitor, bearing pads, anchor dowels, transverse tendons and hardware, compressible seals, bridge-rail anchorage inserts, protective sealer, and related preparation and delivery requirements. The bidder must provide an in-toto price, manufacturer's standard warranty information, required bid forms and certifications, a five-percent bid surety, and supporting manufacturer or product documentation. The awarded contractor must submit design calculations and shop drawings after notice of award and coordinate delivery with the County. Equivalent products may be considered if they meet the stated quality, performance, compatibility, and technical requirements. Prevailing-wage requirements apply, and the solicitation requires compliance with applicable New York State Department of Transportation, AASHTO, and prestressed-concrete standards.
