Legal Notice # 21947951 NOTICE TO BIDDERS Electronic Bids received in BidNet and delivered Sealed Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Brookhaven Town Hall Complex located at One Independence Hill, Farmingville, New York, 11738, for the following project on the date as indicated at 11:00 am: BID #26045 INSTALLATION OF GENERATORS AT VARIOUS TOWN LOCATIONS BID DUE DATE: NOVEMBER 13, 2026 Specifications for the above-referenced bid will be available beginning October 23, 2026. Technical questions and concerns will be expected no later than close of business, October 30, 2026 The Town of Brookhaven is pleased to announce that it now accepts electronic bid submissions through its Website utilizing our new BidNet Direct portal by SOVRA, by the specified due date and time as outlined in the bid document. The website also can be accessed at www.bidnetdirect.com//townofbrookhaven. Sealed bids also will be accepted if delivered to Town Hall in the prescribed format by the specified due date and time as outlined in the bid document. Preferred Method Access website: www.bidnetdirect.com//townofbrookhaven Follow directions to register (if not already registered) and download Bid document. Follow directions of how to submit Bid response electronically if preferred to Sealed Bid delivery Questions must be submitted in writing to Finance Department Purchasing Division to aboland@brookhavenny.gov and pmazzei@brookhavenny.gov . The Town of Brookhaven reserves the right to reject and declare invalid any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received, if in the best interests of the Town. The Town of Brookhaven welcomes and encourages minorities and women-owned businesses; veteran owned businesses, HUD Section 3 businesses, etc., to participate in the bidding process. Description
The Town of Brookhaven is soliciting bids to install generators at Calabro Airport, Brookhaven Landfill, Holtsville Ecology Site, and Old Town Road Highway Yard. The contract term is until job completion. The notice identifies Roland's Electric, Inc. as a business awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years; it does not state that this vendor holds the contract being replaced.
