Description
The State University of New York at Stony Brook seeks a contractor to provide and install equipment shown in the project drawings and specifications. The work includes delivery to the university, unloading, moving equipment to its point of use, uncrating, assembly, complete installation, adjustment, connection of services, testing, demonstration, and removal of installation debris. The equipment must be left ready to operate to its full design capability. Work must be completed within 180 days after the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must attend the mandatory in-person pre-bid conference/site visit to remain eligible. The bid must include a bid security of at least 5% of the total bid. The solicitation also states participation goals of 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses, 11% for Minority Business Enterprises, and 19% for Women Business Enterprises. The lowest-priced responsive bid will be evaluated for required references and responsibility.
